The ticket price includes a 12% City of Chicago Amusement Tax.
By purchasing these tickets you are agreeing to the terms & conditions of DownTheLineRooftop.com. Please remember that the person purchasing tickets will need to show up with their entire party present. You will also need the tickets received through the purchaser's email confirmation.
Entrance will require a driver’s license, state or government ID from the person purchasing the tickets.
Attendees can arrive 60 minutes prior to game time. The rooftop entrance is located in the rear of 3625 N. Sheffield.
Beverage service will begin 60 minutes prior to game time. Beverages include regular, light and imported beer, wine, regular and diet soda, and bottled water. PLEASE NOTE THAT CITY OF CHICAGO ORDINANCE PROHIBITS THE VENDING OF ALCOHOL AFTER THE SEVENTH INNING. Liquor will be served until the end of the seventh inning, in the event of a delay total liquor service will be four hours from arrival. Guests will be provided with soda and water for the remainder of the game. All drinks will be served in plastic cups. GUESTS MAY NOT BRING THEIR OWN BEVERAGES. Guests are subject to search and photo identification to comply with liquor laws. Rooftops reserves the right to discontinue serving alcohol to any guests.
EXITING THE ROOFTOP:
Attendees may stay on the rooftop deck no longer than thirty minutes after the game is over.
GENERAL RULES OF THE ROOFTOP:
No glass, peanuts or bare feet allowed on the rooftop. Guests will not be admitted to the rooftop with any beverages and no one will be permitted to leave the rooftop with any alcohol. Any inappropriate behavior, including throwing litter off the rooftop, use of profanity, disrespectful behavior toward staff or other patrons or actions that, in the opinion of management, endanger the safety of guests, staff and persons surrounding the building or interfere with other patrons’ enjoyment of the Rooftop, will result in immediate and permanent ejection from the rooftop without refund and may result in criminal charges being filed. No advertising is allowed on the rooftop.
There will be a full refund if the Chicago Cubs cancel the game before its scheduled start time. There will otherwise be no refunds.
Rooftop shall not be responsible for any matters beyond its control, including but not limited to, denial of City rooftop license, closure by governmental authority of its existing line of sight into Wrigley Field to view the baseball games, Acts of God, Accidents and weather conditions, all of which are defined as force majeure. In the event service cannot be provided due to the force majeure, Rooftop’s liability will be limited to refund of deposit pursuant to this agreement, and the guest shall not be entitled to claim and incidental or consequential damages.
Rooftop does not guarantee any particular sight lines or view of Wrigley Field or the playing field. Patron acknowledges that the ongoing bleacher expansion project or other events outside of Rooftop’s control may affect the sight lines or views from the rooftop and agrees that any change from the current sight lines shall not be grounds for a refund or discount of the stated price.
The Rooftop may, from time to time, be undergoing improvements to better serve our customers. Rooftop will use reasonable efforts to prevent such improvements with interfering with Attendees’ use or enjoyment of the Rooftop. Any areas deemed hazardous due to ongoing construction may be partitioned from use. The existence of construction activities will not entitle Patron to a refund of any fees paid or payable.
GAME TIME CHANGES:
The Chicago Cubs reserve the right to change the starting time of any game. We also reserve the right to change the starting time of any party when the Chicago Cubs change the starting time of any game. The designated booking agent will be contacted as soon as possible once the Chicago Cubs announce a starting time change. There will be no refund for a game in which the Chicago Cubs changes the game starting time.
The Rooftop may operate during special Wrigley Field events other than Chicago Cubs games. Special terms and conditions for these events are contained on the attached Rider.
The Rooftop deck and clubhouse are not exclusive to Patron or its guests. Authorized guests of Rooftop are also allowed access to the rooftop given the availability of each location of that game date, even if an event is designated as “exclusive.” Rooftop deck may sell additional admissions to the rooftop within legal capacity limitations.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
ROOFTOP AND PATRON AGREE THAT SHEFFIELD ROOFTOP, LLC, ITS PARENTS, SUBSIDIARIES AND AFFILIATES (COLLECTIVELY, “ROOFTOP”) SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE OR INJURY TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY RELATING TO ATTENDANCE AT THE ABOVE DESCRIBED EVENT, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY DAMAGES CAUSED, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF ROOFTOP, ITS EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES, CONTRACTORS OR VENDORS. PATRON SHALL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONDUCT OF ANY INVITEE ON OR ABOUT THE ROOFTOP. FURTHER, THE PARTIES AGREE THAT ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE BREACH OF THIS CONTRACT SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE PRICE STATED ABOVE.
The terms and conditions of this Rider will apply to special Wrigley Field events other than Chicago Cubs baseball games. In the event of a conflict between this Rider and the terms of the Contract, this Rider will govern.
Rooftop shall not be responsible for the presence of obstructions, including but not limited to special signage, sound equipment, video screens and light towers, that may affect the view of the stage area or performance from the Rooftop. The presence of construction activities will not entitle Patron to a discount, refund or rebate of any fees paid or payable.
Rooftop is not responsible for weather conditions affecting the use and enjoyment of the Rooftop or the view of the event from the Rooftop. Patron acknowledges and agrees that it assumes all responsibility and risk relating to adverse weather conditions. Rooftop reserves the right to restrict use of areas of the Rooftop in order to protect the health and safety of guests. Unless weather conditions cause the cancellation of the event, they shall not entitle Patron to a discount, refund or rebate of any fees paid or payable.
